Rangjung
Woesal Choeling Monastery
Dungse Garab Dorje Rinpoche main area of
activity is in Tashigang, East Bhutan, where Rinpoche maintains the Dudjom
New Treasure tradition. Rinpoche established many Krodikali centres for both gelong
(ordained monk) and Ngagpa (yogis) in Bhutan. There are Thimphu,
Gelekphung, Samdrub Jongkar, Phuntshok Ling, Mongar and Samtse. These
centres were built specially for those layman (businessman, students and
those who work under the government service) who do not have the opportunity
to join the Chod practice in monastery. Rinpoche became renowned
throughout Bhutan for the brilliance of his spiritual achievements, for his
compassionate Bodhisattva activities, as well as for his unsurpassed
scholarship.
One of the monastery in Bhutan, Rangjung Woesal Choeling Monastery has a
traditional monastic setting where a community of more than 300 monks
dedicate themselves to a variety of religious activities. Daily life at the

The
beautifully structured main shrine temple and monastery surrounded by monks'
quarters, where lamas are trained in traditional tantric ritualistic arts and
sadhana practices.

Most of the monks
at Rangjung Monastery in Bhutan, who are participating in the training
in the study and practice lineages, are from the nearby region and
neighboring areas. Today, Rangjung Monastery
has three hundred monks.

A
three-year retreat center was built, where traditional three-year retreat
training is given, in accordance with the tradition of the Dudjom New
Treasure lineage. More than ten practitioners had completed their
three years and three months retreat in the three main retreat centres in
Bhutan.
