RINPOCHE'S VISIT TO RANGJUNG GONPA |
Kyabje
Dudjom Rinpoche is a great saint and Vidyadhara of the Nyingma School of
Tibetan Buddhism, and is considered by the Tibetan community as the personal
representative of Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha of our time. Rinpoche's eighteenth
manifestation was Jigdral Yeshe Dorje (A.D. 1904-1987), who was considered an
outstanding yogin, scholar, and meditation master in contemporary time. The
present Yangsi Rinpoche is the nineteenth manifestation, known as Pema Osel,
or simply as Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche The Third.

H.H. Yangse Rinpoche along with His personal entourage arrived in
Bhutan, Before reaching Rangjung Woesal Choeling Monastery, hundreds of
people has already awaited along the road.
They were waiting there to express their hearty welcome. His Holiness was warmly received by
Dungse Garab Dorje Rinpoche with welcoming scarves where many lamas and
devotees had gathered to welcome His Holiness.
It was a historical visit. |

His Holiness,
Dungse
Garab Dorje Rinpoche and the accompanying party of Rinpoches, lamas and monks
arrived at Rangjung Choeling Monastery. The visit of His Holiness
Yangse Rinpoche was preceded and announced by lamas from Rangjung Woesal
Choeling Monastery, who performed a ritual of sacred dances.
His Holiness was then received by khenpos,
lamas, anis and devotees from the monastery with full honours and an
elaborate traditional welcoming ceremony was also performed for His
Holiness.
His Holiness
Yangse Rinpoche was enthusiastically received by more than 10 thousands
of people and was received as the guest of honour and kindly bestowed an
address of advice to the audience gathered there.
A large number of devotees turned out to pay homage
to His Holiness.
His Holiness
granted blessings upon everyone present, and spent a day at the
monastery
with Dungse Garab Rinpoche.
After the welcoming
ceremony, accompanied by Dungse Garab Dorje Rinpoche and the party of lamas
and anis, His Holiness Yangse Rinpoche was proceeded to Thekcho Kunzang
Chodon Nunnery.
A traditional
procession by the monks dressed in ceremonial attire and playing the drums,
gyalings (Tibetan Buddhist trumpets) and other Buddhist ritual instruments,
escorting His Holiness into the nunnery.

Dungse Garab Dorje
Rinpoche hosted a tea reception for His Holiness.
